Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Purpose and goal

This planning project will pave the way for a successful proposal to EIC Accelerator Open, with a focus on commercializing a digital tool for preserving genetic diversity. The tool, based on advanced population genetics, has reached TRL 6 with national support and will now be scaled up internationally. The goal of this planning project is to submit a competitive proposal to the open call for proposals in spring 2026.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to lead to a strong, competitive proposal to EIC Accelerator Open. Through market analysis outside the EU and a strengthened international network, the global potential of the tool is validated. The result will be a well-informed strategy for commercialization, with the goal of securing funding and enabling global dissemination of the technology. The effect is strengthened animal health, preserved genetic diversity and increased sustainability in animal husbandry.

Planned approach and implementation

The project consists of three parts: 1. Market analysis outside the EU to validate the tool´s global potential. 2. Consortium development with a focus on needs owners and research partners. 3. Application support with professional consultants to develop a strong EIC Accelerator-ansökan. The work is driven by an experienced team with established contacts within research environments and business, and the project integrates a gender equality perspective in all phases.
