Important results from the project
The objectives were met with the submitted complete and competitive Eurostars proposal including clear WP structure, milestones, deliverables, budget and a plan for exploitation and IP. The consortium was created with a Swedish SME as coordinator and a British SME as a partner where tasks and roles were defined. Other results include a strengthened investment base through the IRP, an IP strategy, increased industry contacts (KUKA, Götarps M) and a clearer TRL path with a clear project structure.
Expected long term effects
Expected long-term effects: Rapid market introduction after TRL8 and a scalable SaaS business (robot-agnostic AI) combined with tactile hardware. More reference customers and upscaling via integrators and OEMs, which strengthens EU competitiveness, onshoring New jobs and competence supply within AI and robotics in Sweden and the EU. Strengthened IP and contribution to standardization and CE compliance. Sustainability with fewer errors and injuries, better ergonomics and lower energy consumption.
Approach and implementation
The project was run according to plan in three parallel work packages: 1. Preparation of proposal, 2. IRP (Investment Readiness Process), 3. IPR and FTO. The consortium was created with an Svenskt SME as coordinator and an Brittiskt SME as a partner where tasks and roles were clarified. The time plan was kept. The activities were right for the purpose and resulted in a submitted competitive Eurostars proposal. The collaboration worked well without any major obstacles.
