Purpose and goal

Ultra-Pure water is essential for the life science sector, but current solutions for DNA-free water are expensive, complex, and maintenance-intensive. With our patented technology, AngstromPure® Water (APW®), we will now test its potential for applications such as DNA analysis, reagent preparation, and nanoformulation. Originally developed for microchip manufacturing, this project aims to demonstrate the value of APW and lay the foundation for future product development within life science.

Expected effects and result

The main objective for the project is to demonstrate the value of our pure water solution for the pharma and medtech industries and lay the foundation for further product development and market launch. Expected results from tests with partners and potential customers will lay the foundation for future business plans and roadmaps. Additionally, we will build internal expertise to continue development with in-house staff after the project ends.

Planned approach and implementation

The project consists of two work packages: one focuses on evaluating the suitability of APW water for DNA analysis and other life science applications, and the other covers business planning and project management. In brief for the entire project; lab tests are conducted with partners, results are documented in reports, and a business plan is developed for future launch. Internal expertise is built to support continued development after the project´s completion.
