Important results from the project

Yes, the goal was to create innovative growing companies, built on unique knowledge, and that contributes positively to the global goals of the 2030 Agenda. 59 startups have received support via project and together attracted approximately SEK 327 million. A female investor network has been initiated thanks to the project. Tools that increases collaboration, pilots and deals between startups and existing businesses or the public sector, have been developed to catalyze sustainable development.

Expected long term effects

The networks and platforms that have been initiated, with many involved actors in several dimensions and different roles create increased opportunities for Innovation and sustainable transformation in society. New ways of working to build value together have been anchored in both startups and existing businesses/public sector, with connection to the innovation support system. This cross-border spider web of collaborations increases our development power and resilience to be a sustainable society

Approach and implementation

The project has included work on attraction, selection and incubation of new innovative business ideas and startups, where active learning and needs-based support have been central. From early need verification to international market entry. An important part has been to focus on sustainability, impact measurement and the societal impact that companies can have in addition to direct customer value. Built investor network and contributed to effective arenas for investors and startups to meet.
