Important results from the project
FUTROLL is a project to develop a new roll forming technology to manufacture 3D roll formed automotove parts through improvement of finite elements models, material models and friction models. A complete manufacturing line will be manufactured and automotive parts produced.
Expected long term effects
The project resulted in a production line for automotive prototype profiles. iIt is expected that this will help the market to understand this new technology and its benefts due to the flexibility.
Approach and implementation
The project is based on strategic work and planning. Conceptual studies were made before the machines were built to maximize the performance of thr technology.
