Important results from the project

The goal has been to establish a new type of programme together with ESG and a couple of selected large companies from Sweden, focusing on "Open Innovation". The goal is to find solutions to existing challenges in the large companies´ operations that can be solved with the help of technology, products/services from Singapore. The project includes both scouting of companies, selection of solutions, coaching of both startups and large companies, and finally selection of solution and implementati

Expected long term effects

The project has greatly contributed to strengthening ties between Sweden and Singapore in general, and further strengthening the image of Stockholm and Sweden as one of the very best places globally for fast-growing tech companies to start from. Over time, we are convinced that it contributes to both increased employment and tax revenues for Sweden. Approach and implementation

We have developed an innovation process: - based on Epicenter´s agile process for innovation - together with experts from large companies and with support from Epicenter´s experienced innovation coaches. - Focus on innovation and learning quickly to only move forward with solutions that work. - Selected projects will produce a so-called MVP (minimum viable product) - The results will be validated by large companies, with the ambition to be implemented in real operation over time.
