Purpose and goal
We have reached the goal of developing hardware and software to collect and visualize information of air pollution an Environmental weather in Gothenburg. The environmental weather has been demonstrated in field under real conditions and meets the requirements of TRL7. We have identified target groups, potential partners and channels in order to develop a refined solution. With successful results and goal fulfilment, we see opportunities for further development and dissemination work with additional partners and funding to achieve the greatest impossible impact.
Expected results and effects
Eight sensor nodes are now installed at selected locations in Gothenburg City and four more are under development. The platform for collecting and visualizing data is in place and the measurements are now possible to see at miljovader.se. The effect we see is that for municipalities there is now a big interest in the technology and for analysing the data and possibilities to formulate action proposals. Future dissemination and development for effects regarding behavioural change of citizens remains to be examined in the next step.
Planned approach and implementation
With four work packages and seven project partners the organisation have worked well and contributed to good results and good dissemination. Some of the project partners had previously worked together, while others were new, which made the work dynamic. For a possible continuation we have identified in which areas we need to strengthen with skills for continued success. The result of strategic communication and dissemination has created curiosity among actors to contribute and participate, which feels very positive.
