Purpose and goal
The aims for the project were to prepare all documentation necessary to get the technical approval asd to do a first user test of the prototype. The work to get the documentation for type approval has led to complete CAD materials in 3D so the process for approval can begin. The market survay was done in Spain and Sweden. An important result was the company signed a distribution agreement and is planing to launch the vehicles in Orlando at PGA International. The meetings in Sweden led to that Ellwee will be an offical partner during PGA Sweden 2017 and 2018.
Expected results and effects
The result of the pre-study in order to get type-approval has led to that all necessary documentation is in place. Ranging from CAD drawings to bill of materials. The company is ready to take the next step in the process for approval. The market survey that was conducted led to a signed distribution agreement with sold vehicles, customers that have signed up to purchase and feedback resulting in approved functionality. The effects are that the company is starting the commersialization process and to deliver the pre ordered vehicles.
Planned approach and implementation
The chosen methods for data collection fulfilled the needs. Documentation is prepared to file for type-approval. The market survey has led to both sales opportunities as well as feedback to proceed with the sales and launch plan.
