Important results from the project

The project met all objectives by delivering a complete and well-structured proposal to EIC Transition Open 2025, including a technology development plan, business plan and risk analysis. The work also gave Lumiary a clearer strategy for reaching TRL 6 and a more concrete GTM plan. As a side effect, new potential use areas for the sensor technology have been identified through customer dialogues, which may open up for future projects and collaborations.

Expected long term effects

In the longer term, the project is expected to help Lumiary drive its sensor technology towards a higher level of maturity (TRL 6) and thereby strengthen the company´s opportunities to commercialize the solution. The structured technical and business plan creates a solid foundation for continued development, partnerships and market establishment. New potential application areas can also broaden business opportunities and strengthen competitiveness.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented as planned: in three work packages that directly correlated to the requested content in the proposal to EIC Transition. The project was influenced by the ongoing development of sensor technology, which enabled an even clearer technology development plan in work package 1. When the procurement of a consultant to contribute to the application writing dragged on, the schedule was slightly delayed, but by relocating internal resources, the deadline was still met.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
