Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to identify energy and cost efficient distributed network solutions for media distribution. Besides the more general efficient TV- and media distribution, the project will study and develop solutions for large events (e.g. sports events), which pose great demands both on the network architecture and the protocols, to provide caching and transport in a flexible way. The project aims to put together a consortium of different types of business actors from all parts of the eco system around media delivery.
