Purpose and goal
The purpose and goal of the Ecolife Passport (ELP) project is to develop an advanced digital platform for managing Digital Product Passports (DPPs) to promote sustainable consumption and support a circular economy. ELP aims to reduce waste, extend product life and ensure compliance with environmental regulations by offering a user-friendly interface for both product owners and consumers.

In this way, the driving forces for both consumers and producers become clear and the motivation for more efficient resource utilization is highlighted. With increased digitalization and traceability of the product, the possibility of new business models and customer contact is created. The project aims to achieve an Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 7 within 36 months.
