Important results from the project
The project has managed to meet all objectives within the time frame and budget. During the project, the prototype has been further developed, tested together with a pilot customer and more Risk cards have been added to the database. Pilot customer tests have been done together with SOMAS in a relevant industrial environment. The results have been positive and the usability and simplicity of the product have been confirmed. The project team has collaborated well to achieve these objectives. The project´s success has given DIRI a promising future and has attracted investors and capital.
Expected long term effects
The project has developed a functioning and useful product that has been tested in a relevant industrial environment. Positive results from pilot customer tests and further development of the prototype have created attractiveness among customers and investors, which has resulted in sufficient investments to bring the product to market and contribute to improving the working environment at workplaces.
Approach and implementation
Our analysis is that our agile approach and frequent follow-up throughout the project´s execution time have been keys to us managing the project very well and succeeding in achieving all three objectives. The work has been carried out in two teams, the Development Team (UX+programming) and the Risk Card Team, which has developed our Risk Cards. Tests of our prototype together with SOMAS have worked very well and have been constantly adapted to needs and resource availability. The collaborative environment in the project has been fantastic with transparency and solution focus.
