Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to improve information management, create conditions for automation and optimization, improve operational efficiency, robustness and resilience, as well as create situational awareness for improved decision-making. The goal is to develop a Digital Twin conceptual solution for multi-purpose ports and the demonstration will be conducted in a port setting.
Expected effects and result
The development and implementation of digital twins in Swedish ports offer the potential to improve operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, enhance decision-making, and contribute to Sweden´s national environmental goals in the transportation sector.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be organized into 5 Work Packages (WPs). The Swedish and Singaporean teams will collaborate closely, sharing progress and addressing challenges. Monthly online coordination meetings will ensure smooth progress across all participating organizations. Each Work Package will include tasks, outcomes, and descriptions, enabling effective execution of project objectives.
