Purpose and goal

This innovation project aims to meet the challenge of integration regarding language and equality of individuals in social and working life contexts with the help of digital tools and a well-developed digital platform. We have fulfilled the goal of conducting an in-depth needs analysis for the development of digital tools in social and working life contexts for increased integration and to connect actors to further projects.

Expected results and effects

Our results show two possible solution orientations that we will develop in the next step, a platform solution and a needs solution. Both solutions take a linguistic and communicative point of departure, with a structural and individual perspective. The first is about supporting users with language skills, navigating complicated information noise, while the second is about using digital resources to support the individual users in their communication and integration in working life.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is conducted through a combination of methods, such as interviews, observations and design workshops with foreign-born persons, companies, various organizations and research. In this work, the needs analysis is enhanced and the network is developed with different stakeholders. We have connected new stakeholders to the project that are relevant to the ongoing work. Participation in conferences and events has been an important step in our work with our external analysis.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
