Important results from the project

The project developed insights and competence on attack prevention in a 5G connected site in demand of highest possible cyber security. The project targeted operations and testing in confined areas, such as a mine, to explore the implications of cyber threats to autonomous vehicles, increasing the knowledge on how to test cybersecurity affecting system safety in road transportation.

Expected long term effects

Ensuring that products and systems are cybersecure is a huge responsibility. The C3P project has proven that collaboration is vital to the somewhat fictitious food chain of organizations in the Quarry business case. It is very easy to revert to a blame game when an incident occurs.

Approach and implementation

It has become very clear that cybersecurity related to vehicles and the networks that support them is a topic that requires further study. The project group has applied for a new Vinnova project, to continue exploring challenges related to the 5G networks and the handover between public and private networks, and issues associated with the handshake at international border crossings.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
