Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** In the large Swedish population study SCAPIS (www.scapis.org), extensive imaging has been performed on 30,000 participants. Surveys are done with computed tomography and images saved as regular images (DICOM) as well as raw data. The project aimed to explore whether we can export the raw data stored from SCAPIS computed tomography examinations and convert the raw data into an open format for research purposes (prediction of heart disease).
Expected long term effects

It would then have a value for research in image reconstruction for future development of computed tomography. However, the value is limited by the fact that the collection is done with the elderly technology. The hope that information in the images could be used to improve prediction could not be verified.
