Important results from the project
The planning project is structured as an intensive 7-month process with resource allocations from Uppsala University and MG Sustainable Engineering AB. It focuses on developing a strong project concept, building a qualified international consortium, and preparing a competitive proposal for the Horizon Europe call. Activities include concept development, partner mobilization, pre-feasibility studies, and full proposal drafting.
Expected long term effects
Strengthen cooperation between international partners for future joint EU projects. With the expanded network and accumulated experience, opportunities to apply for and implement new projects increase. This will lead to increased innovation capacity, technological development and more efficient solutions in sustainable energy. In the long term, the project will contribute to a stronger position in the market, increased competitiveness and increased cooperation within the EU.
Approach and implementation
The project was implemented according to plan. The partners carried out all activities, including concept development, partner mobilization, feasibility studies and preparation of a full proposal. The work within the planning project was structured into three work packages, which included coordination, project structuring and writing and submitting the proposal, ensuring compliance with the criteria for excellence, impact and implementation.
