Purpose and goal

The project addresses the challenges of implementing a Transformative Innovation Policy (TIP), focusing on global societal issues. It emphasizes the need for effective collaboration between established companies and startups within innovation arenas to support TIP implementation. By examining various models, including corporate-led and joint collaborative arenas, the project aims to understand how the orchestration of these arenas facilitates or hinders partnerships.

Expected effects and result

Results: a) A model that provides a detailed approach for optimizing matchmaking, partnership development, and long-term collaboration within these arenas. b) Guidelines showcasing best practices aimed at improving strategic collaboration processes. Effects: Arena coordinators will use the model and guidelines to enhance collaboration between startups and incumbents. Additionally, it will contribute to improving transformative innovation policy.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is divided into several interconnected work packages. WP2 and WP3 deal with the project´s two main works, case studies, model development, and guidelines, which will be based on literature reviews, interviews, and delph. WP1 and WP4 cover project management as well as various types of stakeholder engagement, feedback, writing, dissemination, and other communication.
