Purpose and goal
This project aims to take the COMAS Medical Technologies product from a verified technical prototype to ready for a first human clinical study. The implementation is focused on achieving the technical, regulatory and contractual milestones required to verify the unique functionality and safety of the COMAS system. The overall aim of the project is to eliminate the final obstacles to the upcoming clinical trial.
Expected effects and result
The goal of the project is to manufacture 10 complete prototype units and the required patches for use in planned clinical trials including relevant applications to LMV och EPM.
Planned approach and implementation
Projekt teamet skall inkludera både egna och externa konsulter med kompetens inom regulatoriska regelverket kvalitetssäkring och tillverkning, 10 kompletta och funktionstestade COMAS-styrenheter samt 100 COMAS-patcher, tillsammans med all nödvändig teknisk dokumentation, kommer att vara framtagna och redo för användning i klinisk miljö. Produktionsprocessen skall valideras. En vetenskapligt och regulatoriskt robust studieplan, med protokoll skall kreeras och guida den kliniska studien.
