Purpose and goal

The aim of the project has been to strengthen the collaboration between the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and RISE in the area of test beds in cities, and to increase the competence of the two partners through increased collaboration. Within the project, we have been able to develop collaboration, map partnerships in cities, conduct dialogues between different sectors and write a joint scientific article which is now in draft form when the project is completed. It will be submitted to a scientific journal before the summer of 2020.

Planned approach and implementation

The initiation of the project was a literature review on test beds and urban partnerships. In addition, a seminar series was started with the aim to establish a center within the area. In parallel, interviews and other material have been collected to understand the actors´ experiences regarding partnerships and test beds. This material has been compiled and analyzed and will be published in a scientific journal. All in all, the project has led to increased knowledge and increased cooperation between the two participating organizations that will continue.
