Purpose and goal
This planning grant will support an application to Horizon Europe. The project will support further work on an ongoing application, engaging several specialists at RISE. So far, we have developed a project idea that focuses on helping companies gain a deep understanding of potential circular customers and users, which will support companies that want to scale circular offerings and business models. At the time of writing, we are developing the work packages and project structure.
Expected effects and result
We are hopeful that this planning project will lead to a financing for a 3-year, €5M project called CIRCUIT. The CIRCUIT consortium consists of 15 industry- and academic organizations from Sweden, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Slovenia, Romania, and the United Kingdom. Together we aim to understand why certain individuals are able to access circular business models (CBMs) while others are not. This, we propose, will help with the scaling of sustainable CBMs.
Planned approach and implementation
The funded project supports time to apply for more financing from the EU. This is already in progress.
