Purpose and goal
Chase will create an open and innovative research environment where researchers from university and institutes work closely together with engineers from industry in the area of antenna systems. The goal is to facilitate a fast transfer of knowledge resulting in new products and business opportunities. Product ideas, scientific reports and IPR are concrete results from the centre.
Results and expected effects
The close cooperation between researchers and engineers with different backgrounds are expected to lead to cross fertalization and synergies that will increase the competetiveness for the partners and also attract researchers and students to Chalmers and the centre.
Approach and implementation
Six projects are defined at the start of stage 2 with room to start new projects. The projects are defined and executed jointly by the university and industry. The researchers and engineers work together following joint project plans with milstones and regular meetings are held to monitor the progress.
