Important results from the project

Through presentations and match-making events, Richter Life Science established many new contacts for continued cooperation. These contacts represented several business areas of interest to Richter Life Science, such as forestry, pulp and paper industry, as well as agriculture/grain industry. The contacts included start-ups, established industries as well as interest organisations. New contacts were also created with academic partners, partly via visits to the university, partly via academics´ participation in the conferences.

Expected long term effects

By participating in the program planned for Toronto and Vancouver, we established many new contacts relevant to our business areas. We will now follow up on these contacts, with the hope that some will lead to the start of concrete collaborative projects.

Approach and implementation

Sting Bioeconomy and Paper Province, together with their Canadian collaborative partners, had planned for a very ambitious programme in both Toronto and Vancouver. The program was carried out in a very successful manner. The activities of the agenda enabled immense opportunities for communication between Swedish and Canadian partners, which resulted in many interesting collaboration opportunities.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
