Important results from the project

The project makes it easier for the public sector and its partners to create and establish business models. The project was aimed primarily at the public sector or parties working together with the public sector, with a common goal of creating a better life for all in an interconnected world The result are to be used to create sustainable, business conditions for managing public data so that this data, in turn can create values and net benefits that promote innovations The project contributes to data being able to; reused, scaled up, inter-operated and procured

Expected long term effects

The short-term goal is to offer a way forward for the development of business models promoting public data. The project achieved this by: - Mapping and clarifying how current business models for public data constitute an obstacle to business development. - Through a series of workshops with relevant actor in both private and public sector, - Develop proposals for new business models for public data. - Develop the logic linked to the organizations´ conditions - Create a white paper. - Communicate the results in relevant arenas

Approach and implementation

The project must take great socio-economic consideration in relation to business perspectives. Which means that the project has an increased focus on benefits instead of profits. The project consisted of an external analysis from a triple helix perspective, workshops and a seminar to ensure that the project´s target groups´ perspectives were integrated in the production work. During execution, the project has worked carefully to ensure anchoring and communication of the project´s results by participating in own and other projects´ events and seminars.
