Purpose and goal
The project aims to strengthen Sivers Wireless AB’s 6G competence by sending one staff member from Sweden for an extended stay in the US. Through practical collaboration and streamlined management between Swedish and US teams, the initiative will facilitate knowledge exchange, unify development efforts, and long-term integration.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to boost and share 6G expertise across both teams by implementing more efficient, coordinated management, and ways of working. This will enable closer collaboration and spread new knowledge to both engineers and managers. The long-term effect is stronger partnerships, greater innovation, and a more inclusive and competitive Swedish wireless industry.
Planned approach and implementation
The plan is for a Swedish staff member to spend up to six months at Sivers Semiconductors Inc. in Chatham, New Jersey. They will work closely with the local team and other US colleagues and managers to establish streamlined program management and workflows between the Swedish and US R&D teams, and to set up a program for knowledge exchange. The grant will cover travel and living expenses during her stay in the USA.
