Important results from the project
MIOO is a platform and subscription service for bicycle services aimed at people who commute to work with a bicycle. Bike Buddies (mechanic / performer) cycles to the customer and delivers the service administered via MIOO´s app built for iOS and Android. The project with Vinnova has resulted in the development of the interface in the app as well as the functionality of managing Bike Buddys in a smoother way. The development of the app today makes it possible to scale up MIOO to new locations, which helps Bike Buddys across Sweden to get started and serve more cyclists.
Expected long term effects
The result achieved with the project is developed technology to be adapted to the administration of MIOO Bike Buddys. The effects of the project are a commenced establishment outside Stockholm where MIOO has so far established contact with 130 potential Bike Buddys throughout Sweden. Through a developed interface for Bike Buddys, at least 10 new Bike Buddys are ready in two new cities for a total of up to 1000 active users by 2020.
