Important results from the project

Our goal was to develop a platform with improved user-friendliness and several interactive features. The most obvious success is that we have succeeded in developing an integrated server-based recording function. We are in the final phase of having developed the next version of the platform where the basics will soon be in place. This will be considerably clearer for users about different functions in the interview training. However, we have not reached the expected level of the platform due to that the development of the server-based recording function was very time consuming.

Expected long term effects

The integrated server-based recording functions are in operation and are currently used in the ongoing EU project, PROMISE 3. Participants in the project´s 7 countries can record on the server and are available for project management directly on the server and local feedback. Planning for training initiatives for an organization in another EU country and an international organization is currently underway. The new platform is expected to be in basic operation when these trainings start.

Approach and implementation

In the introductory part about the development of the server-based recording function, our developer has done development work in collaboration with companies abroad and the knowledge about the area is limited. We have not been able to identify any other alternative approach as several key functions in the platform are uniquely developed by our developer. If a suitable specialized consultant had previously been identified and a collaboration initiated, perhaps the development of the recording function could have been accelerated.
