Important results from the project
The pre-study has provided insights into the current situation, risks and areas of development related to incubators´ attraction and recruitment work from a diversity perspective. The problems are visualized and the foundation is laid for long-term work for increased inclusion.
Expected long term effects
The pre-study has raised awareness of problems and potential related to diversity in incubators´ recruitment. Recommendations are given to develop more inclusive processes. In the long run, this is expected to lead to increased diversity among admitted companies and strengthened innovation power.
Approach and implementation
The combination of methods such as interviews, review of websites and analysis of existing material has provided a nuanced picture of the current situation. Self-reflection and a norm-critical approach have been important to handle the risk of own biases. The pre-study has been carried out with limited resources and does not claim to be comprehensive, but provides valuable basis for continued work.
