Important results from the project

The overall objective of the project has been to develop an automated (AI-based) system for legal advice in the form of “self-service tools” aimed at private individuals. During the project, three areas have been identified as particularly critical and have been the focus of project delivery: 1) developing an automated and intelligent booking system for the purpose of matching individuals with lawyers, as well as infrastructure for document automation; 2) evaluating the above-mentioned services with the target groups; 3) developing our marketing and sales strategy.

Expected long term effects

The project was expected to result in 1) development of our first legal self-service tools, including a digital booking system for matching individuals with lawyers, as well as software for document automation; 2) evaluation of the services using the target groups; 3) development of our marketing and sales strategy. All deliverables have been delivered with good results (including a new website, new communication material and partnerships). After completion of the project, we have now gained sufficient information to decide on how to scale the platform.

Approach and implementation

The project started off with an analysis of existing technical solutions in the field. A prototype of a digital booking platform was built and tested by the target group. The platform was adapted based on customer feedback to increase its product-market fit, and a public version was subsequently launched. In parallel, a system for document automation has been built and tested. In light of the outcome, we conclude that the structure and implementation of the process has been appropriate.
