Purpose and goal

The progress achieved in the recent developments within AI applications for health demonstrates a growing demand for training of Health care practitioners and other stakeholders involved in biomedical research and development. Our project will develop and offer five different types of training as part of the Advanced Digital Skills program targeting AI and Health: To develop a pan-European Master program in AI and Health in collaboration with four leading Universities. Four other additional educational activities within AI and Health will be developed.

Expected effects and result

Five different results are aimed for: 1) A Master program is given for more than 150 students. 2) Two MOOCs will be made accessible for European users 3) Workshops on digital technologies are offered to students and other advanced learners. 4) Three short-term courses for professionals from academia, research institutions and industry will be made available. 5) A number of recorded conferences will be made available to the general public, available in four different EU languages.

Planned approach and implementation

1) The master program is developed in collaboration between Aix-Marseille Université, Università di Pisa, Stockholm University and Universitat Autonoma di Barcelona and leads to a double-degree in AI and Health. 2) The MOOCs will be distributed via Stockholm University. 3) The Workshops will be offered to students and other advanced learners and includes practice in labs. 4) The courses will be provided by trainers working on technological transfer for industry. 5) The recorded conferences will be made available to the general public via the EU digital skills and jobs platform.
