Purpose and goal
The project aims to bring technologies from the competence center Acreo Fiber Optic Center, to commercial use. The results are shown by (1) the strengthening of international cooperation, (2) a growing number of companies that are adopting the technology center possesses, and (3) commercial verification of technology from AFOC.
Results and expected effects
The project has helped to make commercial use of the R&D results from Acreo Fiber Optic Center.
Approach and implementation
Only a few companies have been formally contracted to the Center as co-financiers of the project, in contrast to previous years, where a large partner group have been contracted. On the other hand, a larger number of companies than previously have informally interacted with the Center. This is in line with the analysis made by management in recent years.
