Purpose and goal
The overall aim is to establish a national cluster dedicated to accelerating innovation and development in sustainability technologies through structured industrial support. The cluster is designed to address Swedish industry´s most pressing sustainability challenges by attracting and developing innovation in critical technologies, products and processes. In this way, the cluster will strengthen Sweden´s and Europe´s competitiveness in the ongoing green transition.
Expected effects and result
The cluster will act as a powerful catalyst that bridges critical innovation gaps, accelerates the development of new sustainability solutions and validates them for accelerated industrial implementation. Ultimately, the goal of the cluster is to strengthen Sweden´s position at the global forefront of development and implementation of sustainability technologies.
Planned approach and implementation
The project builds on the proven success model from AstraZenecas BioVentureHub and creates a unique environment where large industrial companies collaborate with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within a structured framework, with unique access to leading expertise and advanced industrial infrastructure.
