Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the research project is to provide a comprehensive survey of innovation hubs in Sweden that link large and small companies in open innovation. This is to conceptualize what different types of innovation hubs exist, how they relate to each other and what challenges and opportunities they create for the actors the actors. The study forms the basis for a research report as well as research articles and a number of seminars as inspiration and discussion material for both industry practitioners and actors at the policy level.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Open innovation through large companies´ innovation hubs is an under-researched area, and these operations can also be designed in many different ways, and have different purposes and approaches. The project has studied and generated a better understanding of the different options available for design, the consequences these choices have for innovation hub outcomes, and what more general challenges may arise. The project also gives policy makers and innovation system actors a better understanding of what support measures are needed.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The survey is based on empirical data, which mainly includes document studies and interviews with those responsible for innovation hubs in different companies. The project also has a dissemination role, where seminars and workshops are used to discuss the project´s analyzes and conclusions.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
