In 2021, the survey Innovation in the public sector 2019-2020 was conducted with the aim of increasing knowledge about innovation and innovation activities in public activities. The survey is a follow-up to the survey study Innovation Barometer conducted by SKR, Sveriges Kommuner and Regions with support from Vinnova in 2018.

The seminar presents some first figures from the survey which are also commented on by Klas Danerlöv from SKR and Dr Leif Denti, University of Gothenburg.

About the survey

Surveys were sent to innovation managers / heads of municipalities within all government agencies and all municipalities and regions in the country, as well as to approximately 5,000 public workplaces.
