Vinnova's Gender Equality Plan (GEP) outlines Vinnova's approach to gender equality. The plan addresses both internal operations from the employer perspective and external operations towards external partners and applicants. Vinnova's Gender Equality Plan (GEP) describes Vinnova's gender equality work and gender equality requirements for projects funded within Horizon Europe.

The plan is organised based on the thematic areas that the EU's Horizon Europa research program has set as eligibility requirements for projects that are granted funding in the research program. The plan is signed by Vinnova's director general, Darja Isaksson.

The internal part of the document describes the authority's work on equality and inclusion issues and concerns the employer perspective, where responsibility lies with the HR department. The work is in accordance with Swedish law and is also described in Vinnova's equal treatment plan.

The external part addresses the government's instructions for the gender mainstreaming mission that Vinnova has been implementing since 2015. Responsibility for this work lies with Vinnova's Gender Equality Team.

Vinnova's equality plan for participation in Horizon Europe (Gender Equality plan) is only published in English, as it is aimed at the EU's innovation program Horizon Europe. In Swedish, the internal work is described in Vinnova's "Plan for active measures for equal treatment and inclusion".

Here you will find a summary in tabular form of the mandatory and additional requirements that Vinnova has met according to new eligibility criteria to gain access to Horizon Europe instrumentVinnova Europe GEP compliance
