Yellow Counterfeit System DIY

Purpose and goal

Purpose and objectives was primarily to provide a unique product, for in-house organizations themselves to be able to fight counterfeit sales online. This is partly achieved, then these companies now largely can carry out the work themself. The project will continue until the whole process can be managed by them. The system fills however a large role in assignments where we as a supplier solves the hole/or part of the process for the client. The target that the client should gain control of over 500 digital marketplaces are achieved.

Results and expected effects

The target of the project was to significantly strengthen our position in key European markets and that the revenue of the new product would be the half of our growth until 2019. It is extremely early to estimate this already at this point, but our view is that today we have a better chance of reaching the target than we thought at the beginning of the project. All indications are that the forecast for the product, for 2015 will be met. We have also created a very good basis to reach it also the coming years. Regarding hirings, we have made two.

Approach and implementation

Both planning and implementation has worked well. The function description was clear from the beginning and the project manager and technical project manager has been working closely with our partners which has been important. It has also been valuable with the continuous dialogue with experienced buyers in the industry. It has been useful that we had the mindset that is has been possible to adjust the functional description during the project, as this raised the quality of the product.
