Purpose and goal

The aim is to improve conditions and raise the status of women´s sport through new knowledge generated within a sports science research and development center focusing on women´s sports and health. WVWS will become a unique gathering place for sports women, coaches, managers, researchers and innovators with an interest in women´s sports and health. Bringing together sports, academia and industry in the same environment creates the best conditions for new collaborations and innovations.
