Purpose and goal

Purpose: To have deaf and hearing impaired people in the world access to better health on their own terms (in sign language) through training wherever they are and wherever they want, a training app in sign language (Swedish and international). Goal/fulfillment: A training app in sign language is finally launched in Swedish sign language and international sign. Instructional video in sign language and exercise video is available in the app.

Expected results and effects

The training app is currently in its start-up phase where we have just started and is in the beginning of the process when we just launched the training app. There is much left to do, especially the "technical" and development of the visual which is important for the deaf and the hearing impaired. In addition, the functions must be adapted to the visual world through sign language both in Swedish and international sign.

Planned approach and implementation

We started by contacting the app developer and a video/editing company in April-June where we started filming and editing some of the first training programs in a home gym and the development of the app that took some time when the visual and technical work would work in one and should be a great way for anyone who will use the app. A test group was set up to test the app for a month and provided feedback. The app was launched in August and we were given the opportunity to establish cooperation with Elit Ortopedi and rent their physical center to be able to make movies with some more training programs.
