Important results from the project
The goal of the project is that the final agenda will be the basis for a national mobilization in the sector (industry, academia, government, and research institutes) for wireless communication! The final agenda will also be the basis for an application for a strategic innovation area in wireless communication with the intention to strengthen and develop the industry to Sweden as an industrial nation could maintain its leading position in the field.
Expected long term effects
The Agenda work has met both of its goals: Together with Chalmers, Lund and Linköping Universities, SP, FOI and some 100 companies in wireless communications, has a national innovation and research agenda been developed for the industry and the consortium has been invited to submit a full SIP application
Approach and implementation
The work has been carried out in parallel in Sweden´s four leading clusters in wireless communications: Kista, Gothenburg, Linköping and Lund. the starting point has been the currently existing Vinnova excellent centers and their industry partners. The method has been successful and gathered more than 100 companies and institutions who actively participated in shaping the agenda
