Purpose and goal

Novosense´s objective is to develop the wireless vital sign monitoring system, based on novel and patented technology, and successfully launch it on the international home health care market starting with Scandinavia. The sensor technology has been integrated and the antennas has been minimized to increase market acceptance and usability. The develop product prototype has been validated with positive outcome.

Results and expected effects

Novosense and Novelda have developed the wireless monitoring system, based on new and patented technology. The product is planed to be launched on the international market with start in Scandinavia. The end consumers are different health care units that could utilise home health care.

Approach and implementation

Two companies has work together with the development of the vital sign monitoring system; Novelda AS, Norway and Novosense AB, Sweden. Novelda has develop an UWB-radar chip to register respiration. Novosense has developed electronics for the miniaturized sensor and also been responsible for software development of the new product.
