Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop a strategic project plan for the establishment of a Swedish cluster of excellence in quantum computers and quantum algorithms. The goal is to position Sweden at the absolute technological forefront. By bringing together central national and international actors, from both the user and developer sides, an overall implementation plan is created. This plan will pave the way for a world-leading Swedish cluster established before 2035.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in a project plan that outlines objective, timeframes and resources. By actively involving Swedish and international stakeholders (such as industry, academia and the public sector) in the planning, a broad anchoring and consensus is created. Thus, potential obstacles and uncertainties are identified and managed proactively. This greatly minimizes the risks ahead of the complex establishment of the excellence cluster.
Planned approach and implementation
The core of the project is to actively gather key stakeholders. By arranging meetings and workshops, a platform is created where relevant actors (from e.g. industry, academia and the public sector) can discuss and formulate a common set of requirements. This process is vital for building consensus and a unified goal for the excellence cluster. The collected material, requirements and objectives, then constitute the direct, well-founded basis used to write the final project plan.
