Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Since the purpose of the Validator project has been to strengthen Sweden´s innovation power by helping individuals validate their innovation ideas, especially recently graduated university students, we consider the project successful. In summary, it is also our opinion that Vinnova´s support has provided an important grant to Sweden´s innovation power in general, and an effective support for idea carriers specifically.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** During the period April 2018 - May 2020, a total of 376 idea carriers applied for cost coverage for validation through the Validator project. Of these, 144 idea carriers were offered cost coverage for validation. Of these 144 ideas, more than 25% of these companies are currently run as or within companies.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project had five parts: 1: Outreach & Marketing. 2: Pre-screening and In-depth Screening. 3: Validation strategy. 4: Validation activities. 5: Soft landing / Dealflow. All parts were handled by a project group. Special selection of ideas for validation was handled by an expert committee. The validation activities were carried out by the idea carriers in consultation with the coordinating party.
