Urban renewal (Tällberg Foundation/KPMG)

Purpose and goal

For large scale renewal of the million program housing we need synergies between the hard and soft infrastructure.. If such a solution can be realized, we have a possibility to turn these areas from a social and financial burden to the opposite. This project will create a constellation of actors that will be able to search for a holistic solution to this challenge. The key issue to realize this is to generate a new market structure where public and market actors cooperate. Such partnerships will require new finance mechanisms and new legal arrangements which the project will deal with.
