Purpose and goal

The objective is to develop an up-stream source separating wastewater system that minimizes impact on the environment, use of resources and optimizes the recycling of plant nutrients. Within 10 years, Sweden will be the leading distributer of technical- and management know-how within the field of sustainable sanitation technology. The project will provide unique preconditions for identifying necessary processes and components that are critical for the system to function. This knowledge will be the core of a holistic concept that can be marketed.
