Purpose and goal
The objective of the planning project is to develop and submit a competitive application to the first call for proposals from the European Partnership FutureFoodS; ´Transforming Food Systems - reshaping food system interactions, fostering food innovations and empowering sustainable food choices´. The main objective of the proposed project is to co-create, develop and implement multi-level strategies to transform food environments, promote sustainable food policies, and drive stakeholder-led innovation in different European contexts.
Expected effects and result
We expect to develop a nuanced, stakeholder-anchored and innovative project design which will contribute to the transformation of food environments that support people in making more sustainable and healthy food choices.
Planned approach and implementation
In close collaboration we will address target requirements of the international call including building a strong international consortium, develop a Food Systems Approach, work actively with multi-stakeholder engagement to secure a nuanced multi-actor perspective on food environments and develop a theory of change and impact plan to inform real-life transformations towards more sustainable food systems that empower consumers to make more sustainable food choices.
