Training elevator technicians with the help of virtual reality (VR)

Purpose and goal

The goal and purpose with the project is to improve the quality and safety of the training of untested and experienced elevator technicians through an e-learning program (e-learning) based on virtual reality (VR).

Expected results and effects

The project´s initial idea and constellation has been further developed with a potential end-users of the project´s final result, as well as with expertise in the technical field related to the project (VR technology).

Planned approach and implementation

During the project an initial investigation has been made of conditions of the market and of the technology relating to the project, which has enabled that the project idea and the constellation could be further developed. The developed constellation has together created a project plan of how the project shall be taken forward to achieve its goal.
