Purpose and goal
Find a new cross-border co-operation between district heating-heat pump-digitization-plants/installations, for the development of heat and cooling in our growing cities. During UDI 1, we have organized workshops with Öresundskraft, Tornet, KTC, NIBE, SKVP, Regin, Eon / Ectogrid, and Halmstad University. We have also had workshops with Energiforsk - Ferrologic - Utilifeed in order to look at digital control systems with AI support as well. We have met with Sveab installations for the development in the construction industry.
Expected results and effects
Reduced dependence on gas and primary energy / biomass, with increased circular exchange between different heat sources, eg from shops so-called prosumers in the same network. We have in the working group analyzed Råå, Rydebäck, Ödåkra, Tornet, as well as Bunkeflo, Tygelsjö, Fosie in Malmö Municipality, to see how large the impact on CO2 a transition to district heating / heat pumps can get. In Bunkeflo where the buildings consumes about 15 GWh / year we would decrease by 3400 tonnes CO2 / year, and in Råå where the buildings consumes about 12 GWh/y we would decrease by 2726 tonnes CO2 / year.
Planned approach and implementation
We have analyzed the current gas consumption, conducted interviews with people who work with sales and technology in district heating and heat pumps and with digital solutions for buildings and construction companies. During the project we have had working group meetings, in Stkhlm, Gbg, Malmö and Hbg, 15 different companies have participated. We have made site visits to Råå, Rydebäck, Bunkeflo, Erikslund, Tygelsjö and Fosie. We have also applied for new partners for a broader UDI 2 appl where Brf but also companies like Skånemejerier are conceivable for obtaining a broad basis.
