Purpose and goal
The aim with the commission has to the IUC Network initially been to identify and analyse innovative SMEs with qualifications to be selected for an Innovation check. The commission of the IUC Network has included the role of an national distributor of the assigned 80 Innovation checks during 2013.
Results and expected effects
All the 80 Innovations checks have a signed agreement with 80 SMEs and have been activated during the first ½ part of 2013. More than 200 SMEs were initially identified as prospects and an selection among these have been accomplished. We know form the evalution that a number of innovationsproject have been started basiclly due to the Innovation check. The evaluation also show that more than 50% of the SMEs says that the product/service is mature enough to introduce to the market.
Approach and implementation
The methodology is set by the IUC Network 8-step model, which is on of the tools beeing ISO9001 certified and use in the network. The model constiutes of: Step 1 - Initial identification; Step 2 - selection, control and 1st companycontact; Step 3 - Growthanlalysis; Step 5/6 - 2nd control and payment; Step 7 - Coaching and Check-up; Step 8 - Evaluation.
