Purpose and goal
The project aims to adapt and install Medoma’s digital platform for hospital-level care at home within the Oxford NHS environment. The objective is to meet UK regulatory requirements, integrate the platform technically and functionally, and validate it together with clinical staff. The project will deliver the full basis for a future pilot and research study, with the long-term goal of broader implementation across the NHS.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to deliver a regulatory-approved and technically validated platform adapted to UK requirements and Oxford NHS workflows. This enables the launch of a pilot and research study. Once implemented, the platform is expected to improve workflow efficiency, increase care capacity, enhance patient experience, and strengthen the international reach of Swedish health innovation.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be carried out in four stages: project management and coordination with relevant Oxford NHS stakeholders, DTAC alignment for regulatory compliance, technical installation and functional adaptation in the Oxford NHS test environment, and joint design of a future pilot and research study. The work includes security reviews, workshops, user testing, and development of a complete pilot plan.
