Purpose and goal

The project aims to optimize the planning and development process to reach the intersection between the market conditions and a qualitative end results. A common view of the planning and development process which, through increased transparency and less sub-optimization, can act more in step with changes in society and reach a greater future variation. The aim is also to initiate new forms of work within the public sector where cooperation between business and the public sector is a key element

Expected effects and result

The result of the project´s objectives shall be a developed model for the planning and development process; The Skellefteå model. The result is expected to contribute to a better business climate due to increased transparency and greater opportunities to shape the project based on the prevailing market conditions. An effect of this should be more construction starts while it is possible to see attractiveness and quality in the finished result.

AP1: Disassemble and Explore - A reflective review of two specific planning and development processes; Getberget/Lejongapet and Anderstorg AP2: The Skellefteå model - Form a model for the planning and development process that fits fast and changing growth based on the tools the municipality has at its disposal. How can we create the best benefit and value in the final product AP3: Communication and anchoring - communicate the Skellefteå model in a wider circle
